Sarah Zeryab is a Palestinian artist and filmmaker working with moving image, sound, and installation. Her practice explores the material, affective and aesthetic manifestations of rupture, disruption, exile, and resistance through fragmented, non linear constellations that weave together text, visual fragments and sound. Drawing on personal experience, Sarah’s practice often engages with the temporality of place—particularly the Palestinian refugee camp, a site perpetually under threat of erasure.

She examines its fraught, triangular relationship with stolen land and revolution, opening up spaces where liberatory and collective histories can surface, and where new forms of potentiality may emerge. Her live sonic performances reconfigure archival film materials, inviting audiences to imagine what lies beyond the frame. Moving fluidly across mediums and contexts, Sarah approaches the moving image as a continuum, shifting between states of completion and becoming.
